Enjoying the way of life down in the south • My biggest shock was how friendly, welcoming and open people are down here. From people off the sidewalk asking where I was heading with a yoga mat and told them I do a morning class to them joining in on the session. • Since I don’t work any retreats in the summer I needed to find social gatherings that helped me get out of my little bubble. One of those things that I made it a routine is showing up to a yoga class Saturday mornings • By going to this class it has helped me make connections with a lot of people. Sometimes I see familiar faces and other times it’s new faces! After class you can decide to stay and water color and I believe that’s where the real magic happens. We start by introducing ourselves and we all got on these conversations just about anything. • The instructor and I have connected, she has such a glowing soul to herself and whenever together we can’t help but smile and laugh. She introduced me to this other community with slack lining. Never had I thought that would be something I would try or get into but interesting enough, I enjoy it. • Slack lining is a mental and kinda physical skill. I see it more in a mental way because while doing so I need to get out of my head and breathe. Be in the present moment and looking ahead while trying not to look at my feet to see where they are going.
