NATHAN JAMAIL HAD A REAL, LASTING IMPACT ON OUR LEADERSHIP TEAM.

We took his lessons straight into our daily interactions with our teams. The result was better coaching, more confident leadership, and stronger follow-through across the year. In a very tough operating environment, that discipline made the difference, and we hit our market share targets because of it.”

—BEN SPACE
Vice President, Commercial Director Americas Managed

With the vast array of challenges facing the Hospitality industry today, every interaction matters.

  • Staffing shortages and high turnover are occurring at every level.
  • AI-driven service tools are able to improve efficiency, but clients still want human connection.
  • Guest experience expectations are being shaped by social media and instant reviews.
  • Service consistency varies across shifts and properties.
  • Revenue per room is under constant pressure, and rising labor and operational costs are making every dollar harder to keep.

The hospitality companies that win on revenue are those that drive exceptional service, no matter what changes in technology, staffing, or guest expectations.

The difference lies in how they lead, serve, and sell:

  • Building leadership standards that survive staff turnover
  • Creating ownership cultures where every employee understands their impact on the guest experience
  • Developing sellers who can articulate the value of the experience, not just the rate
  • Coaching managers to lead by standard, not by mood, so they develop people rather than just fill shifts
  • Aligning revenue management and sales around shared accountability for outcomes

Nathan Jamail gives hospitality leaders the tools to build teams that deliver

CONSISTENT,
EXCEPTIONAL

EXPERIENCES

— and the strategies to sell that experience, not just the rate.

FAQs

About HospitalityKeynote Speaker Nathan Jamail

What experience does Nathan have in the Hospitality industry?

Nathan has not only worked with hospitality clients like Hilton and John Q. Hammonds, but he’s in the hospitality industry himself. He and his wife, Shannon, run a retreat center that offers activities in addition to a beautiful place to stay. He understands deeply the pressures facing the hospitality industry, and equips leaders and teams with proven strategies to meet them.

What topics does Nathan speak on?

Nathan’s expertise is in leadership and sales. He is often asked to help strengthen leadership across hospitality organizations, equipping leaders with the growth mindset and coaching behaviors that build teams prepared and eager to deliver exceptional customer service.

Does Nathan only speak on stage, or can he help my Hospitality leaders and teams in other ways?

He absolutely can. Many of Nathan’s hospitality clients, including Hilton, ask him for ongoing leadership development and culture transformation initiatives. Nathan customizes his programs to their needs so they can implement and sustain the discipline and practices that will elevate guest experience and drive sales, whether they need workshops, coaching, or a bespoke engagement program.

About Nathan's Keynotes

Does Nathan customize his keynotes?

Yes. Nathan doesn’t just talk about exceptional client experience; he practices it. Before each event, he spends time learning about your company, leadership team, and challenges you’re facing. He offers prep calls with leaders, in addition to discovery calls, and tailors stories, examples, and takeaways to ensure he delivers the outcomes you need to achieve.

Does Nathan deliver only live keynotes, or does he offer virtual sessions?

Nathan offers both. While live events are typically more interactive and high-energy, he designs every keynote to be engaging, interactive, and practical. And he also offers virtual leadership workshops, sales training sessions, and leadership development programs for remote or hybrid teams.

How interactive is Nathan as a speaker?

Very. Nathan does not believe in standing on stage and talking at people for an hour. A natural crowd worker, he asks questions, uses real-world scenarios, involves the audience in problem-solving, and creates moments where people can immediately apply what they are learning. Hospitality leaders and teams leave with ideas they remember (and will actually use), not just more notes they’ll inevitably throw away.

How do I know if Nathan is the best  Hospitality  keynote speaker for my event?

If you are looking for pure motivation or a feel-good story, Nathan is not a good fit for you. His keynotes are designed to create real behavior change, not just entertain an audience for an hour. They are practical, interactive, and focused on instilling in leaders and teams the mindset and practices that will shift their behavior and create teams that consistently deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Does Nathan do discovery calls?

Yes. And he also offers prep calls. In the discovery call, he’ll work with you to see if he’s the right speaker for your event. In the prep call, he’ll gain a better understanding of your organization and needs, so he can customize his content to create real value and behavior change.

Does Nathan offer any post-event resources?

Yes. Nathan regularly posts on The Playbook Blog and can deliver his insights straight to your employees’ inboxes. He also offers workshops, sustainability programs, and additional virtual or in-person sessions. Many organizations continue working with Nathan after the keynote to reinforce the message and create long-term leadership and culture improvement.
